BookPickleBall is operated by BYTEUNITY SOLUTIONS & SERVICES CORP ("we", "us"). This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do not do.

The short version

We collect what is needed to hold a court booking and to confirm you paid for it. We do not sell your data, we do not advertise to you off our site, and we never see your card or online-banking credentials — because we never ask for them.

What we collect

When you create an account

  • Your email address and display name.
  • Your password, stored only as a cryptographic hash. We cannot read it.
  • A mobile number, if you choose to give one so a facility can reach you about a booking.

When you sign in with Google

  • We ask Google for exactly three things: your email address, your basic profile (name and picture), and a sign-in identifier (openid).
  • We do not request or receive access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, files, or anything else in your Google account.
  • If you sign in with Google we never see or store a password for you at all.
  • You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account's security settings. That removes our access to the three items above — there is nothing else to remove.

When you book a court

  • The booking: facility, branch, court, date, time, price and status.
  • Your booking history with us.

When you pay

  • We do not process card payments and we store no card or bank account numbers.
  • For bank or e-wallet transfers you upload a screenshot or photo as proof of payment. We store that image, and the facility's staff review it to confirm your booking. That image may show whatever your banking app displays, so treat it as you would any receipt.
  • For cash, the facility's front desk records the payment. No payment instrument is stored.

Automatically

  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.
  • A session cookie so you stay signed in.

Who can see what

  • The facility you book with sees your name, contact details, your bookings with them, and your payment proof for those bookings.
  • Facilities are separated from one another. A facility cannot see your bookings at any other facility.
  • We can see account and booking records for support, billing and abuse handling.
  • Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

We disclose data beyond this only where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to investigate fraud or abuse of the service.

How long we keep it

  • Account details: while your account exists.
  • Bookings and invoices: retained afterwards as business and tax records.
  • Payment proof images: retained with the booking they belong to.
  • Server logs: a rolling window, for security purposes.

Your choices

  • See or correct your details — from your profile page while signed in.
  • Delete your account — write to us at the address below and we will remove it. Completed bookings and invoices may be retained where we are required to keep business records; we will tell you what is kept and why.
  • Stop using Google sign-in — revoke access in your Google account.

Children

BookPickleBall is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
